Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski popularly known as Paul Wesley, is an Oscar-winning director and actor famous for his work in the well-known television drama show The Vampire Diaries. For his role in The Vampire Diaries the actor received numerous awards as well as nominations. Wesley was born on the streets of New Brunswick New Jersey, United States. During his high school years he showed an interest in acting. Then he attended Rutgers University. Once he realised that his talents as an actor could lead to a successful career, he chose to drop out. His debut appearance in TV was on the popular American TV soap opera Another World. He played the role of a lead character on Wolf Lake, a CBS television show a year later. The career of his character reached a pivotal moment when he began playing the character of Stefan Salvatore, in the famous American television show The Vampire Diaries. He directed several episodes in the series in addition. Since when he first made his debut in film in The Last Run, he's appeared in a number of well-known films. Recent roles include Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer as a second actor. He's also quite popular on social media and has more than thirteen million users on Instagram and 4.1 million followers on Twitter.
