Anna Silk

Anna Silk is a Canadian actress who was born on the 31st of January 1974. Her most well-known role is for her role as Bo on the Showcase TV show Lost Girl. Silk was created in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay Silk, and Peter Silk are the fathers of Silk. Ilkay is a playwright as well as director, and she teaches drama at St. Thomas University. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Some of Anna's earliest memories were of going to rehearsals for plays and watching her mom work. Silk appeared as a little model in a commercial. Silk graduated from St. Thomas University with the Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. Theatre St. Thomas staged at least two early plays: Seven Menus & The Kitchen. Silk made the move to Toronto to pursue her acting career in November 1999. She then, over the decade that followed, she relocated to Los Angeles California. Seth Cooperman became her husband in 2007 after they met at an actor'sworkshop at the Actors' Workshop in Los Angeles. They got married the year 2009 and wed in a civil ceremony in December of that year. The couple was married on April 10, 2011. renewed their vows in an Jewish wedding ceremony held in Fredericton after she converted to Judaism. Silk had the son Samuel Jerome Cooperman in May 2013. Levi Aaron, Silk's second baby boy was born in the month of May in 2016. Silk's work on television has included her part in Being Erica as Cassidy Holland and she received an Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009 she was cast as the main role of Bo Dennis in Lost Girl. Silk became pregnant during production of the final season episode and broke the news to the fans during a Showcase pre-show Season Three special on January 6 2013. Silk announced on Twitter June 20th that the show would return for a fourth season of production. The fourth season debuted on June 4, 2013 with Showcase and Prodigy Pictures. The character she played Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Palmer) as lovers with the same gender in the show Lost Girl was named one of the most popular Television Couples from CNN (Cable News Network) and named the Top Television Couple in the year 2013 by E! Entertainment Television. Silk is a popular show on the social networks.
