Sometimes a glittering career hides some of the saddest stories. Lolo Jones, who won both the USA championships and World Champion in hurdles is able to reach her present position with a lot struggle and a huge amount of patience. Born to a single mother with five kids, Jones had a difficult and impoverished childhood. Her mother lived on the roads and inside the basement of a church in the area at one point. Jones, who lived an erratic and mobile lifestyle from the moment she started high school, had to transfer to a brand new school every year. In Theodore Roosevelt High School Jones resided apart from her mother to pursue her interest in track events. Jones lived in four different residences during her high school time to pursue her education in a single location. Jones, a cellist in the school's orchestra as well as winner of Gatorade Track and Field Iowa athlete of the year award was awarded an award called the Gatorade Iowa Athlete Award towards the close of high school. Jones started her professional career at the college level as one of the top hurdlers. In 2002, she won the winner of the 100-meter hurdles in the NCAA Track & Field Championship. Also, she was among the participants of the runner-up team in the relay 100-meter event. Jones was the winner of both indoor hurdles and the outdoor hurdles event during the NCAA Championship in 2003. Jones has been training since 2005, when she completed her studies. That same year she took home her first Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she won the Ostrava Track event as well as Heusden.
Growing up from Cape Town South Africa Brandt relocated with her family Auckland New Zealand in her early teens. Brandt was spotted locally by casting directors, and was offered the role of Naevia, in the Starz hit show Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. She was among the breakout stars for this show, working with Steven S. D Knight and Sam Raimi. Mazikeen is a DC Comics/Vertigo role model who appeared on Netflix's cult program Lucifer. The show ran for six years. Forbes listed Lucifer as their top most watched show to binge watch in 2021. Brandt's next appearance is in the six-episode Walking Dead spin-off in 2024 with Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurrira. The adult animated series Captain Fall will premiere on Netflix in the month of July 2023. Brandt is a co-star with Jason Ritter Anthony Carrigan Chris Meloni. Lesley Ann Brandt was born on the 2nd of December in Cape Town, South African. She's an extremely talented New Zealand actor. Lesley Brandt and her family moved to New Zealand in the city of Auckland. Zealand in the year 1999. In Auckland Brandt was initially an employee in the retail sector, and later was upgraded to IT Management Consultant. Lesley's first job was a handful of modeling projects. Then she appeared in countless commercial advertisements. In 2008 she graduated from her college and began studying Meisner techniques for studying. Lesley Brandt had her first major acting job with New Zealand in TV Drama Diplomatic Immunity. Lesley Brandt is a supporting guest on New Zealand television drama Shortland Street. She also appeared on a Sci-fi drama called This Is Not My Life which is based upon the anecdotal town of Waimoana. Lesley Brandt played Naevia in the TV show Spartacus: Blood and Sand. Later, she played Naevia in Spartacus: Gods of the Arena.
