Yael, an Australian living in New York City, played Lorna in Orange Is the New Black. Yael holds a master's diploma from NIDA. Yael's first job has given her to meet and work with some of Australia's best storytellers. Yael has a successful career with a thriving career in Australia. A continuing collaboration with Australia's much-lauded director Neil Armfield culminated in the internationally-renowned production Diary of a Madman, in which she starred opposite Academy- Emmy- and Tony Award-winning actor Geoffrey Rush. Yael has relocated into New York City after the Brooklyn Academy of Music's staging of the show was an enormous success. Yael was co-founder at The Cannery. The Cannery encourages innovative writing, and creative endeavors in the Bushwick studio.
