Cheryl Hines

Cheryl Ruth Hines was born on the 21st of September, 1965, in Miami Beach, Florida, to Rosemary (Graham) and James Hines who grew up in Tallahassee, Florida. She went to West Virginia University as well as Florida State University before graduating from the University of Central Florida. It wasn't until she moved out of Los Angeles to the Groundlings Theater where she studied comedy when she realized that she had learned about comedy. Lisa Kudrow was her first tutor. She was taught how to perform improv and sketch comedy. This experience helped get ready for the role as Larry David's spouse on the HBO show Curb Your Enthusiasm (2000).
